LATER: Okay, so here’s the skinny. It was a great race. I’m really glad they moved the start and finish to the River Market area. Great temperature for a race. It actually got warm at times, but it was way better than Chicago with it’s almost 90 degree temperature or last year’s Little Rock when it was 22 degrees. Nice and overcast for the most part.

Unfortunately, there was a casualty. His name was Adam Nickel. I can’t remember where he was from, but he was an elite athlete. He finished the marathon and came in 13th, so he was in great shape. We still don’t know what happened. Please keep his family in your prayers.

Well, here is the course. I did it a little longer than I wanted. But considering that I had only run about 3 or 4 times in the last month, I think I did okay.
